Not unlike your responsibilities to the association, as the Designated REALTOR® you have similar obligations to the MLS. You, the DR, are the PARTICIPANT. Your agents are system USERS or SUBSCRIBERS. They do not “belong” or have not “joined” the MLS; they are simply subscribing to a service, and their access to that service is through you. While MLS bills agents directly for their subscription, if fees are not paid,  the fees become the obligation of the DR.

It is your responsibility to know the MLS Rules and Regulations and to ensure that your agents are trained in the MLS Requirements.
